He’s a class act and goes out of his way to acknowledge his teammates and coaches’ contributions to his success. The reception he received from his teammates in NYC was so fun to watch. The bond between Mendoza and his teammates, and between this team and IU fans, is incredible. It’s amazing that this has happened in just two years. The culture of IU football that Cig, the staff, and the players are building is just awesome to see.
